1. General Provisions

1.1. By submitting a listing, the user fully agrees to these Terms of Use, as well as to the storage of submitted personal data and contact information on the mezalapa.lv website in accordance with applicable legal regulations.

1.3. By registering or submitting a listing on mezalapa.lv, the user agrees to these Terms of Use and undertakes to comply with them.

1.4. The website mezalapa.lv is a specialized online classifieds portal created to bring together participants of the forestry sector in a unified digital environment. The main purpose of the website is to serve as a central information exchange hub for the industry — whether for suppliers of goods and services, buyers, service users, intermediaries, or representatives of supporting sectors.

1.5. The portal offers a wide and well-structured classification of listings — ranging from forestry machinery and raw materials to workforce and services. This structure ensures convenient and targeted use for both professional industry participants and private individuals seeking or offering specific forestry-related products or services.

2. User Account and Registration

2.1. To submit listings, the user must create a profile on the mezalapa.lv platform. The account may only be used by its owner; transferring access to third parties is not permitted.

2.2. The user assumes full responsibility for the accuracy of the provided information, including company name, registration details, and contact information.

2.3. The platform administration reserves the right to request additional information and documentation for user identification, especially when required for security or legal compliance purposes.

3. Listing Content Requirements

3.1. Listings must be accurate, specific, and relevant to the selected category. Posting listings with misleading or incomplete information is prohibited.

3.2. Each listing may refer to only one offer (product, service, or job). Images must represent the actual offer and must be authentic, not taken from catalogs or the internet.

3.3. It is prohibited to include contact information (phone number, email address, links) within the listing description outside designated fields. The price must be clearly stated without misleading conditions.

3.4. The use of excessive symbols, promotional slogans, capital letters, or repeated characters in the opening lines to attract attention is prohibited.

3.5. The first line must not contain words such as “Promotion”, “Sale”, “Special Offer”, “Best Price”, “Super Deal”, “Attention”, “New”, or similar marketing slogans intended to attract attention or highlight the listing. It must also not include unrelated information such as store name, address, or other non-product details.

3.6. Listings must not infringe copyright or trademark rights.

3.7. Listings must be written in Latvian, Russian, or English. Text written in other languages, or Russian written using Latin characters, as well as listings containing excessive errors, are not permitted.

3.8. Requests for full or partial prepayment for the offered product or service are not allowed.

3.9. Listings intended to collect user information are prohibited.

3.10. Listings that receive multiple complaints may be removed.

3.11. The administration reserves the right to remove listings with contradictory, irrelevant, unsolicited, absurd, or low-quality content without prior notice.

4. Prohibited Listings

4.1. It is prohibited to publish listings that contain:

4.1.1. Fraudulent or false information;

4.1.2. Offers that violate applicable laws or are not related to the forestry sector;

4.1.3. Content of a sexual nature, occult-related content, or offers involving illegal substances;

4.1.4. Offers related to network marketing (MLM), paid-to-click schemes, or questionable financial schemes;

4.1.5. Job offers located outside Latvia.

5. Listing Removal and Sanctions

5.1. Listings that violate these Terms may be removed without prior notice. In case of repeated violations, the platform administration may temporarily or permanently restrict access to the user’s account.

5.2. A user may not create more than one account, except where reasonably necessary for legal or organizational purposes. Duplicate accounts may result in the suspension of all associated accounts.

6. Payments and Publishing Terms

6.1. Each registered user is provided with 3 free listings. Each free listing remains active for 30 calendar days from the date of publication.

6.2. Users may purchase subscription plans that allow them to publish additional listings (beyond the free limit), as well as gain access to the following additional features:

    • Listing statistics and performance insights;
    • Creation and management of a favorites list;
    • Adding company information and logo to the profile.

6.3. Purchased listings (within a subscription plan) may be used within 365 days from the date of purchase confirmation. Each published listing remains active for 30 calendar days from the publication date. After expiration, the listing remains available in the user’s profile for an additional 15 days, during which it can be republished as a new listing. To do so, the user must have at least one available listing credit (either free or purchased) in their account.

6.4. All prices are indicated inclusive of value-added tax (VAT) at 21%, unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed via the payment methods available on the platform. Fees paid for subscriptions are non-refundable, except in cases предусмотренные applicable consumer protection laws.

7. Liability and Dispute Resolution

7.1. Mezalapa.lv website and classifieds service owners assume no responsibility for the content of listings or for the outcomes of transactions between users. Full responsibility for the listing content lies with the user who submitted it.

7.2. In cases where the website is unavailable due to technical reasons, listing durations will be extended accordingly if the disruption is within the control of mezalapa.lv.

7.3. A user who violates these Terms may have their account suspended, and any damages resulting from such violations shall be borne by the user.

8. Processing of Personal Data

8.1. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy published on the mezalapa.lv website.

8.2. Data is used solely for the provision of services, statistical purposes, and security. Data is not disclosed to third parties without a legal basis.

9. Amendments to the Terms

9.1. The terms and conditions of the mezalapa.lv classifieds service may be changed, supplemented, or amended and shall take effect from the moment they are published on the website.

9.2. Commercial users will be informed of significant amendments at least 15 days in advance.

9.3. If a user does not agree with the amendments, they have the right to terminate the user agreement by providing written notice before the amendments take effect.
